ADHD Stimulant Prescribing
Please note Drs Antley, Stevenson, Temple-Doig, Gritt, Chua are unable to initiate ADHD prescribing. Our other doctors may initiate prescribing for non-complex patients with a suitable psychology report. A double appointment will be required to discuss this.
Immunisations
We have an excellent team of nurses who can offer information and support so please make an appointment if you want to book an immunisation or if you have any questions.
Recalls
We usually contact patients via myindici or by email. If this is not possible then we will either text, phone or send mail.
Test Results
Our clinical staff check all results and will get in touch if any action is required. Myindici users will receive a message when their result is available for viewing. This may include a comment from the clinical staff. Please note that fees usually apply for follow-up emails & consults.
Transcribing software
Please note some of our clinicians use an AI note-taking tool called Heidi to record your consultation. This helps them focus more on you and less on typing. Heidi is not used for any other purpose, and it is compliant with the New Zealand Privacy Act. The saved data is non-identifiable and is stored securely for up to 90 days. Your consent is required, so if you have any questions or do not wish Heidi to be used, then please let your GP or Nurse Prescriber know at the start of your consultation.
Your Health Information
Please note that our practice is contributing to and accessing healthcare information from HealthOne. This is a South Island based secure electronic record that allows registered healthcare providers directly involved in your healthcare, to quickly access information such as your test results, allergies, medications, GP summaries and hospital information. HealthOne adheres to the principles of the Privacy Act 2020 as well as the Rules set out in the Health Information Privacy Code 2020. Access is only possible via an approved highly secure healthcare information network which is regularly audited and tested.
