ADHD Stimulant Prescribing<\/b><\/span><\/div>\n
Please note Drs Antley, Stevenson, Temple-Doig, Gritt, Chua are unable to initiate ADHD prescribing. Our other doctors may initiate prescribing for non-complex patients with a suitable psychology report. A double appointment will be required to discuss this.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n

We have an excellent team of nurses who can offer information and support so please make an appointment if you want to book an immunisation or if you have any questions.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/div>\n

We usually contact patients via myindici or by email. If this is not possible then we will either text, phone or send mail.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Our clinical staff check all results and will get in touch if any action is required. Myindici users will receive a message when their result is available for viewing. This may include a comment from the clinical staff. Please note that fees usually apply for follow-up emails & consults.\u00a0<\/span><\/div>\n

Transcribing software<\/b><\/span><\/div>\n
Software is now being used by some of our clinical staff to reduce administrative burden by transcribing consultations and generating notes. This software is secure and is compliant with the NZ Privacy Act. Please ask your health provider if you have any queries about this at the start of your consultation.<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n

Please note that our practice is contributing to, and accessing healthcare information from HealthOne.\u00a0 <\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/span>This is a South Island based secure electronic record that allows registered healthcare providers <\/span><\/span><\/span>directly involved in your healthcare<\/u><\/span><\/span><\/span>, to quickly access information such as your test results, allergies, medications, GP summaries and hospital information. HealthOne<\/strong> adheres to the principles of the Privacy Act 2020 as well as the Rules set out in the Health Information Privacy Code 2020. Access is only possible via an approved highly secure healthcare information network which is regularly audited and tested. Privacy auditing is used to check that only those directly involved in <\/span><\/span><\/span>your care <\/u><\/span><\/span><\/span>are accessing your information.
